FAQ

Answers to your questions
How hard is it?

The game doesn’t require you to solve extremely complex puzzles. Some are easier than others but all are achievable if you think logically and work as a team. A big part of the game is simply observation, searching the room for hidden items and discovering what is right in front of you!

For your safety and to provide clues your game is monitored via webcam. The game manager will be able to provide helpful hints to steer you along the right path when you play. There is also a button you can press to request extra clues.
What is your accessibility policy?

At Escape360 we welcome anyone with a sense of adventure or intrigue to come and take part and will make every reasonable effort we can to accommodate those with a disability. However, due to the hands on nature of the game it may not be suitable for every player.

Please be aware that the Escape360 games room is situated up a flight of stairs on the 1st floor of the De Vere Beaumont Hotel and the design and size of the room and stairwell makes it improper for wheelchair access.

Do I need to be physically fit?

The game is much more a mental challenge than a physical one. The game does require the team to be able to search the room thoroughly and be able to handle and use the puzzles and clues in the room but nothing particularly strenuous.
What is your refund policy?

Refunds can be provided with 48 hours’ notice of cancellation at the manager’s discretion. This is to allow time for the booking slot to be reallocated to other players. You must make contact with the office via email or telephone if you wish to request a cancellation.
What is an Escape Room?

An escape room is a physical and mental adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms. Escape rooms are inspired by "escape-the-room"–style video games. Games are set in a variety of fictional locations, such as prison cells, offices, dungeons and space stations, and are popular as team building exercise.
Is there an age restriction?

While there is no restriction on age the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 10.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

It is not possible to book teams of just children.

The Prime Suspect story follows a thriller type theme. Consider it the equivalent to a PG film.
How much time will we need to play?

We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your time slot, this allows us to brief you before you go into the room. You will then have 60 minutes to complete your investigations and escape the room.
Is there parking available?

Yes. We are based on the De Vere Beaumont Estate and there are plenty of parking spaces available.

I am claustrophobic, can I play?

We are happy to accommodate claustrophobic players. Our escape room is a fair size, but there are of course, differing degrees of claustrophobia. To help you make your choice, we hope the following information is useful:
